Free things to do in Sydney
Sydney of course has some of Australia's most beautiful natural and manmade scenic spots. So if you are staying within walking distance they will be free to enjoy or will be the cost of a train/bus ticket.
Natural scenic spots to enjoy yourself:
- Sydney's beaches - Especially from September to May.
- Sydney's coastal walks - I recommend doing The Spit Bridge to Manly walk.
- Sydney Botanic Gardens - A must for nature enthusiasts.
Manmade scenic spots in Sydney:
- Sydney Historical Tours - You can download self guided tours for free from this site.
- Sydney's Markets - Every market has it's own unique atmosphoere.
- Darling Harbour - Things to do for the whole family year round.
- The Rocks - A beautiful place to look around at the historic buildings, Sunday markets, and enjoy the harbour views.
